This was an informative story based on a child with FASD - Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. the story was well written and I enjoyed it very much. While the resolution of problems was very well handled. I did feel that it was too perfect, and too expected. Carly Mason is an ex-social worker, who is working in a toy store while working on her PhD. When a lost child alert comes over the PA she immediately follows the procedure of locking down her store and walking the aisles to check for the child. When she finds the little girl, she realizes that she is a FASD child and immediately engages her in a way that she understands so she will not become upset and lose control.

Carly is hired by the child's father as a nannie, based on her ease of handling Penny from one incident in the mall. She is the perfect nannie and housekeeper. Bringing the family together and allowing them to bond as a real family. It was just a little to perfect for me. However it was a good story and very informative.

An intriguing story with a lot of educational facts about Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS), a subject I know little about with a tender love story and some good spiritual guidance makes this novel a winner. Great job!
A great Christian love story of forgiveness and strength. Not your typical love story but a true story of many different levels of what our world thinks is love, and also the story of Christ's love for his church.
Very well written, I will put this on my to read again list.
Romantic and educational are rarely used to describe fiction, but "Together with You" is both blended with a spiritual theme. I was only vaguely familiar with FASD before reading this novel. You will embrace Carly, Ryan, Penny and the boys--enjoying the journey of a family from dysfunctional to "normal"!

I wanted to like this book more than I did. The main character, Ryan, was really hard for me to like. His 'conversion' at the end seemed to be more of a sudden awareness that there is a God and he needs his help than I believe that Jesus Christ died to save me from my sins. I liked Carly but I also just didn't click with her either. The plot had all good ingredients but it just wasn't for me...
I was gonna just read a few pages, maybe the first chapter to get an idea about what this book was about. BIG MISTAKE, because I ended up reading until 130 in the morning and still didn't want to put the book down.

It was such a great book and easy to read. I dont believe I have ever heard of fetal alcohol syndrome before. So, it was heart wrenching to learn about it and know it was 100% preventable. The love of the heroine for the family she worked for was so sweet and genuine. Her romance with the hero was cautious and yet real.Loved this book!
I am so blown away by this book! I don't even know where to begin --- or what to say. It's a book about imperfect people - especially Ryan. He didn't believe in God. He had an affair resulting in the birth of his daughter --- born with FASD - Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. His marriage ended as a result of the affair and his daughters mother was killed in a car accident --- leaving him to raise his five year old special needs daughter. He doesn't have a clue how to relate to or handle his daughter or his two sons. That's where Carly enters the picture. She becomes the nanny

I know it sounds like a horrible storyline, but it's not. Sure, mistakes were made, resulting in the end of a marriage, death of a mother, but God had a plan --- for all of them. You will fall in love with Ryan - yes, even with all of his past mistakes - and Carly. Penny, the daughter, taught me so much about FASD. Although a secondary charactor, I loved Carly's dad. His strength and wisdom - a preacher from Kentucky.

The storyline will keep you turning pages. The romance is pure. Sweet. It evolved. You felt the chemistry. Appreciated Carly's faith. The ending - when God got ahold of Ryan - Wow! The epilogue was --- well, sigh worthy!

Highly recommended. I really don't think you'll be disappointed with this book. It was that good ---

Bylin had me engaged from the first page! This story swept me up and had me eagerly, enjoying page after page. Her characters were well fleshed out, the plot was intriguing and there was heart to the story.
I will say Dr. Ryan Tremaine does not start off as your favorite hero. He has messed up, but he is in the process of trying to make things right. And I have to be honest, I do love a good redemption story. And it is not just Ryan, but also Carly, who is working through something in her past that she carries the weight of. They each have their struggles and their strengths.

Things do wrap up rather neatly at the end. Which is some ways felt a little too perfect, but at the same time, gives you that nice happy feeling. Overall, highly enjoyable story!
